Matt Jacob is the founder of House of Yoreh. He opened the café in 2023 to bring farm-to-cup specialty coffee culture to Canggu — sourcing single-origin beans directly from small Indonesian farms, and building a space where craft, design and community could share one roof.

His focus is the quality of the coffee, the standards of the team, and the feel of the room. Everything at House of Yoreh, from the bean selection to the studio upstairs, runs through Matt's taste for the specific and the well-made.

Operations & Business Development Manager

Farit Surya runs operations and business development at House of Yoreh. He oversees the day-to-day of the café, supplier relationships, and the business side of the coffee programme — keeping the team aligned, the numbers honest, and the standards high.

Farit joined House of Yoreh to help build a specialty coffee brand that could compete internationally without losing its roots in Canggu. He works closely with Matt on growth, partnerships, and the continued development of the café and creative studio.

Faisal is Head Barista and Roaster at House of Yoreh. He leads the bar, trains the team, and runs the roastery — profiling every batch on Artisan and Cropster to bring out the best of our single-origin beans.

With a technical grounding in coffee at scale and a specialist eye for roast development, Faisal shapes how every cup at House of Yoreh starts. His work sits at the intersection of craft and consistency: a signature roast profile the team can execute perfectly, every day, across every brew method we offer.

Lead Barista & Latte Art Specialist

Ayu Sukreni is Lead Barista and Latte Art Specialist at House of Yoreh. A competition-level latte artist, she brings a level of precision and creativity to the bar that customers notice from the first cup.

Ayu leads service on the floor, trains junior baristas, and represents House of Yoreh at industry events and competitions across Indonesia. Her attention to milk texture, extraction, and presentation sets the bar for what a drink at House of Yoreh should look and taste like.

Puji, Studio Technician at House of Yoreh

Puji Aprian

Studio Technician

Puji Aprian runs technical operations at the creative studio above House of Yoreh. He handles cameras, audio setup, lighting and post-production for clients booking the studio — from podcasts and interviews to product shoots and portraiture.

Puji's role is to make every session frictionless: gear ready, rooms dialled in, files delivered clean. He is the reason the studio runs quietly and reliably, and why clients keep coming back.
